Service Description
The Balboa is a classic dance of the swing era. It's a close and comfy dance, danced primarily in a close embrace position to quick tempos with small subtle footwork. It's a small dance with infinite variations. The Balboa Fundamentals courses are progressive, building from week to week (no drop-ins) and we offer two different 4-week courses. In these courses you will learn the up- and down-hold basic steps as well as classic moves including come-arounds, lollies, out-and-ins, promenades, toss-outs, ad libs, paddles and other fun variations. This 4-week course is intended to build upon our Fundamentals 1 class and take your Balboa to the next level. Our Balboa courses are presented in partnership with Twin Cities Balboa Connection.
