Hey all, here are some things going on that you should know about:
Uptown Swing Special July Session
July will be a special month for Uptown Swing. I’ll be teaching in Sweden for the second half of July at Herrang Dance Camp (www.herrang.com) so there will be no Lindy Hop lessons in July. Lindy Hop lessons will resume in August. But fear not! Instead, July will have two themes; the first 2 weeks will be dedicated to Charleston and the 2nd two weeks will be dedicated to Solo Jazz dances. Find out more HERE.
Uptown Swing Field Trip June 21st
Well kind of a field trip. We are basically all just gonna head out to Famous Dave’s in Calhoun Square in Uptown at about 8pm this coming Monday JUNE 21. There will be a bunch of Uptown Swing folks there that you already know as well as a bunch of other swing dancers that you can meet so come on out – there’s NO COVER – so really there’s no excuse to miss it!
