Well the first ever Uptown Swing Field Trip went really well. It was great to see everyone out and about and to get to dance with some folks and just mingle it up a little bit at Famous Dave’s last Monday. This coming Monday, (the 4th Monday of the month), the TC Hot Club will be playing at Famous Dave’s – again with no cover – and this is one of my 2 favorite bands to dance to in the Twin Cities so you should really think about checking it out. I’ll be out of town, but I’m sure there will be some folks there that you know (now). Thanks to Shannon & Bill for showing us all “The Madison” and making that swing night happen every Monday in Uptown. You can also find Bill & Shannon at Lee’s Liquor Lounge every Wednesday night for some live music (with no cover!) so check em out.
